Mike is…

Mike Wood has been working as a writer, editor, content strategist, and communications professional in a variety of media—including publishing and advertising—for more than 15 years. He currently works with several clients as an independent consultant, and enjoys the freedom and flexibility this provides him to pursue his passions for travel, real estate, film, friends, family, and food.

Most recently he served as Director of Content Strategy at Urbaneer Creative, a boutique marketing and branding consultancy with offices in L.A. and Boston. While there he served as the managing editor for its in-house, digital magazine The G Brief.

 

His expertise runs the gamut from authors' bios and book jacket synopses to thought leadership op-eds for CEOs and speechwriting; Mike's managed many blogs ranging in topics from life coaching, fitness, and health care to real estate, tech, finance, fashion, and everything in between. 

Mike's like a chameleon when it comes to producing top-notch profiles for all types of subjects as well. He's interviewed a slew of celebrities as well as professionals in all different industries. Lady Gaga? Got it. Navy SEAL? No problem. Fortune 500 CEO? Signed, sealed, and delivered. 

 

He is also an optioned screenwriter with several spec scripts available for producers. He has been hired as a script doctor for other writers' screenplays as well.
